16 LGBT candidates win Victory Fund’s endorsement
The Victory Fund today announced 16 new endorsements of openly LGBT candidates across the U.S. July’s endorsement slate brings to 146 the number of out candidates endorsed by the group this year.
Among the new endorsees is Gina Duncan (pictured), an openly transgender candidate running for the Orange County Commission in central Florida.
State legislative candidates endorsed in July are running in North Carolina, New Hampshire, Washington, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Arizona and Hawaii.
The newly-endorsed candidates are:

Don Bourque – Mass. State House of Representatives
Ken Cheuvront – Ariz. State Senate
Tim Coco – Mass. State Senate
Shelly Crocker – Wash. State House of Representatives
Tom DeGree – Minn. State House of Representatives
Gina Duncan – Orange County, Fla., Commission
Aaron Gill - N.H. State House of Representatives
Heather Giugni – Hawaii State House of Representatives
Dan Miller – Mayor, Harrisburg, Pa. (2013)
Jamie Pedersen – Wash. State House of Representatives
Laura Pisaturo – R.I. State Senate
Lawrence Robinson – Roosevelt Elementary School District Governing Board, Ariz.
Ken Ross – 30th Circuit Court Judge, Ingham County, Mich.
Matt Trieber – Vt. State House of Representatives
