Justice Dept. adds point person on LGBT issues
Openly gay attorney Matt Nosanchuk has been appointed Senior Counselor to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights in the Department of Justice. Nosanchuk worked on the Obama campaign in Florida and was previously on the staff of Sen. Bill Nelson.
He will reportedly be the point person for LGBT issues in the DOJ Civil Rights Division, according to Towleroad.
