Former President Bill Clinton, speaking at the Netroots Nation conference underway in Pittsburgh, delved deep into the history of the enactment of the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, at one point telling a questioner that the LGBT community had not sufficiently lobbied Congress on the issue.
