Bonnie Tinker, a longtime Portland-area LGBT activist, was killed in a bicycling accident while attending a Quaker conference on the campus of Virginia Tech University last Thursday, according to media reports.  Tinker was the executive director of Love Makes a Family, which formed in 1992 to oppose an anti-gay ballot measure.  She was 61.
