Two Victory Fund-backed candidates won key primary elections last night.

In Philadelphia, Judge Dan Anders (pictured) earned enough votes in the all-but-determinative Democratic primary for a 10-year term on the Court of Common Pleas.  He becomes the first openly gay man ever elected to the position.

In Harrisburg, Dan Miller won his primary for the office of City Controller.  Miller will move up to that post after serving on the Harrisburg City Council.
