Nevada gov cool to gay lawmaker’s bills
Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons told the Associated Press he will veto a domestic partner bill championed by State Sen. David Parks, who is openly gay. ”I just don’t believe in it,” Gibbons said. He added that he had not yet read a separate bill introduced by Parks that would bar employment discrimination based on sexual orientation, according to AP.
