Kate Brown, fresh from her victory in her race for Oregon secretary of state, choked with emotion after receiving a standing ovation at a town hall meeting organized by the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus last night.

The event also featured Gov. Barbara Roberts, Jeana Frazzini of Basic Rights Oregon, Marty Davis of Just Out and Victory Fund co-founder Terry Bean.
